In his capacity as Managing Director Jon is the main steering force throughout our company.

He guides the finishes team to provide our clients with an all-inclusive professional service within the Midlands area.
Joining the ALD Group in 2013, Gavin brings with him some 25 years experience in the Drylining, Plastering, Suspended Ceiling and Facades markets.
As a qualified Quantity Surveyor with extensive technical and practical knowledge, he is able to offer design, operational and financial input to projects.
A former President of the Federation of Plastering and Drywall Contractor’s (FPDC), Gavin has worked for some of the Country’s largest specialist companies in these fields.
Karl has worked for ALD since 2006 and has established himself as a surveyor/project manager.
Managing care homes up in the north east to retail unit in London, Karl has an inquisitive mind and thrives on technical challenges, Karl has recently completed his HNC and SMSTS.
Karl has developed a number of key relationships in the last few years which has helped grow the business.”
Robin joined ALD in June 2012 bringing with him over 30 years of industry experience. In his role as Estimator he has an extensive knowledge of various internal finishing systems and is available to advise clients on the most competitive option for their specific requirements.
Steve joined the company in 1986 and has since progressed to become Health, safety and environment manager.
Dave has worked within the building industry for over 20 years. As a surveyor for ALD he is responsible for delivering a quality-finished product to the client.
His surveying skills serve him well when procuring materials. ALD strive to work within strict safety and environmental parameters.
Whilst working for ALD Dave has completed his HNC in Building Services and is working towards his SMSTS qualification.
Dave has experience of running large projects such as a retirement village whilst maintaining the personal approach.
Having joined the company in 2004 Steve has been responsible for fuelling the growth and expansion of our floor screed department.
Steve has worked within the industry for over 20+ years and is responsible for the strategic development of new clients and floor screed systems.
He will offer alternative screed solutions to clients guaranteeing client satisfaction.
Carla has worked for the group for over 9 years and ensures the smooth running of the delivery aspect of the screed division.
Carla recently returned to the business following the birth of her daughter Charlotte.
Graham joined the company in 2009, and has 35 years of sales experience within the construction industry. His current responsibilities are to grow the ALD customer base for Screed, Plaster and Render (In all areas of the country)
Lewis joined the company in 2010 to develop the South East business, focusing on London, utilising his 15 years of sales experience within the construction industry located in the South East of England.
Lewis’s has had much of his experience working for bulk material and manufacturing, beginning in logistics.
Dean worked for the ALD Group Plastering & Dry lining Team in 2005, and 2014 re-joined to work for the floor screeding team.
Having over 20 years within the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Preparing estimates and dealing with interim and final accounts, and assisting with technical and customer support are Deans main responsibilities.
Mike recently joined the business having had a broad cross spectrum of experience across various industries including leisure and transport.
His role encompasses liaising with both suppliers and customers ensuring the smooth running of the dry screed business.
Adrian joined our floor screed team in 2007. He manages the logistically challenging Flowing Floor Screed operations.
Challenging because the screed is installed significantly faster than the its traditional option therefore more sites are visited each week than in any other section of our business.

In her capacity as Company Director Sam follows the company’s philosophy to always provide the client with a quality service. Having worked at ALD for over 22 years both in the plastering department and the floor screeding department she has gathered a wealth of knowledge.
Qualified as a Quantity Surveyor and also Health and Safety Advisor Sam commenced her career as surveyor/ contracts manager for plastering and floor screeding contracts. As the years have progressed Sam is now ultimately responsible for the management of the floor screed department team.
Working closely with all members of the floor screed team, suppliers and clients she can guarantee the best possible service available.
Tim offers 20 years of experience within the finishes market. He is responsible for delivering projects on programme and to the required quality and specification.
Tim has extensive experience in many system applications. Tim is responsible for sourcing and allocation of labour on all projects coordinating the timely delivery of a completed contract.
Tim has excellent communication skills, which enable him to work closely with our clients to achieve client satisfaction.
Richard joined the group in 2010 as Façades Manager having successfully run a small façades business.
Working alongside Tim Smith he is a key figure within the façades team who’s extensive practical and technical experience has proven instrumental in developing the façades business .
He brings a wealth of knowledge to the business in regards to the overall façade package and was recently successful in putting his technical expertise in to a design that won the company national awards for both ‘domestic new build’ and ‘project of the year’ for a housing project in London.
Andy is one of the longest serving members of the team having recently completed 25 years service. He joined the company as a plasterer but in recent times was transferred to the growing façade division as a contracts manager.
His qualifications include NVQ level 3 occupational work supervisor and an SMSTS certificate
Ian recently joined the group after spending many years as a premier sub-contractor to ALD.
As part of our continued expansion into London and the surrounding areas Ian suited the role due to his extensive on site experience and keen eye for detail.
Liaising daily with site management Ian’s role is to ensure quality and service are delivered both on time and within budget.
Brian, is an experienced business manager who joined ALD in 2006.
With some 30 years in the construction industry, he has effected major changes to our financial reporting structure, to ensure smooth progression of the company's organic growth and development.
He has specialist knowledge of credit control matters and debt recovery, and is an active member of the Institute of Credit Management,www.icm.org.uk.
Amy joined the business in 2012 as part of the company’s strategy of introducing young people with fresh ideas to grow the business.
Amy is currently working in the administration department assisting various facets of the business. Amy was successful in achieving an NVQ level 2 in business admin during her first year with the business.
Sandie has worked within construction accounts for over 20 years. In this time she has gathered a wealth of experience. She has witnessed the growth of our company and has helped put systems in place to efficiently monitor the progress of our company.
She prides herself on processing payments on time and she has developed a strong working relationship with our suppliers and employees.
Susan has worked for ALD since 2007. She has been working in accounts departments for over 20 years.
Sue works along side both Brian and Sandie actively supporting both.
