Main contractor Laing O’Rourke on the Bull Ring project approached The ALD Group to take on this project following a successful partnership at a similar fast track project at Birmingham Airport.
The challenges on the contract include:
- 600m2 pours of flow screed at 70mm thick
- Pumping in excess of 150m2 to the higher floors
- Achieving a super flat floor to receive a resin finish
- Working on a congested site with numerous other trades
