Sportpark, Loughborough University
Commissioned by Henry Brothers the Facades division completed their works on this £9m extension project late summer of 2023. The project created a fourth pavilion of 2,000 sqm floorspace to the five-storey building which houses the UK’s highest concentration of sports governing bodies and national sports organisations.
This sustainable facility has achieved Passivhaus Trust Classic Accreditation, which is widely regarded as the most challenging energy efficiency and comfort standards in the world.
The team installed the following systems:
~ Pro-clima Visconn Fibre – sprayed application to achieve an airtight vapour control layer
~ Hilti Helping Hand System
~ Knauf Insulation
~ Terracotta Argeton Tiles
~ Aluminium Rainscreen
