The Tripletts Development
The Tripletts Development situated next to Kings Cross Station in London was one of the most complex screeding contracts The ALD Group has ever undertaken. The development was based around 3 gas holders constructed circa 1860 that were converted to high end apartments with a canal view.
All of the floors on the project were treated with resin so tolerances on the screed were extremely tight based on + or – 5mm. The project encompassed 2 main types of screed and a flowing concrete.
- Flowing Screed-For the areas with Under Floor Heating.
- K Screed-For the areas without UFH
The flowing concrete was used on an acoustic gym floor that was jacked up into place. We kept to a tight programme and the finished development was stunning.
