The Tripletts development situated next to Kings Cross Station in London was one of the most complex Screeding contracts ALD has ever undertaken. The development was based around 3 gas holders constructed circa 1860 that were converted to high end apartments with a canal view.
The whole of the floors on the project were treated with resin so tolerances on the screed were extremely tight based on + or – 5mm. The project encompassed 2 main types of screed and a flowing concrete.
- Flowing Screed-For the areas with Under Floor Heating.
- K Screed-For the areas without UFH
The flowing concrete was used on an acoustic gym floor that was jacked up into place. We kept to a tight programme and the finished development was stunning.
